Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in South Central Houston

The Houston Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the fatal shooting of an unidentified male discovered at 3600 Rosalie Street in South Central Houston. The incident occurred around 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, November 25.

The identity of the deceased is awaiting confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The investigation began when HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the specified address. Upon arrival, they discovered a male lying on the ground near an apartment fence line, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of the Houston Fire Department paramedics who responded to the scene, the male was pronounced deceased.

Preliminary findings suggest that gunshots were heard in the vicinity around 7:30 p.m. the previous day, on November 24. As of now, the authorities have not identified a motive or any suspect(s) in connection with the incident. The investigation remains ongoing
