Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Sharpstown Area; No Suspects Identified

Authorities are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday morning at 5999 Savoy Drive in Sharpstown area.

The victim, a male believed to be in his 20s, was found at around 7:05 a.m. in a parking lot near a plant shrub and a building.

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call and discovered the unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by Houston Fire Department paramedics, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the deceased is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

As of now, there are no known witnesses or suspects in connection with the shooting.
