Houston Police Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run on Parker Road in Northside

The Houston Police Department is currently investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 400 Parker Road in Northside around 11:05 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30.

The victim, a 38-year-old male, has yet to be officially identified pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to reports, the man was crossing the roadway, not in a designated crosswalk, when an unidentified vehicle struck him. The driver failed to stop and provide assistance, fleeing the scene immediately.

Upon arrival, Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
