Houston Police Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide, Three Daughters Were Inside Home

Authorities are currently investigating a tragic incident that unfolded at 4822 Grasilla Street in southwest Houston on Monday night. Around 10:15 p.m. on December 25, Houston police responded to a shooting call at the residence.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a man and a woman in an upstairs bedroom. The victims, a 34-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The female victim had sustained gunshot wounds, while the male suspect had a gunshot wound. According to Harris County property records, the home is owned by 34-year-old Fannie Uresti Delacruz and 43-year-old Roberto Hernandez-Bravo. The identities of the deceased will be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Detectives on the case have learned that the man and woman were husband and wife. Shockingly, their three daughters, aged 6, 9, and 14, were inside the house at the time of the shooting. According to one of the children, she overheard her parents arguing followed by several gunshots. None of the children were harmed during the incident.

While the investigation is ongoing, authorities are currently treating the case as a murder-suicide. The final determination will be based on the results of autopsies conducted on the man and woman.
