Houston Man Fatally Shot During Argument at Westchase Hotel

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man at the Ramada by Wyndham Houston Westchase hotel, located at 2451 Hayes Road, which occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective D. Higgs, patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the hotel and found the male victim inside a room with at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Investigators reported that the victim was shot following an argument with another person or persons inside the hotel room. The identity of the deceased is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
