Houston Man Drives into Active Accident Scene, Arrested Following a Pursuit
On December 1, 2023, Constable Mark Herman’s Office deputies were engaged in an accident investigation in the 18000 block of the Hardy Toll Road when an unexpected incident unfolded. A driver disregarded emergency vehicles and proceeded to drive into the active accident scene.
In response, constable deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. However, the driver, identified as 26-year-old Jonathan Moore, refused to comply, prompting a brief pursuit. Deputies successfully halted the vehicle, apprehending Moore at the scene.
Jonathan Moore has been arrested and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. He faces charges of Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle, and his bond has been set at $7,500.00.
