Houston Man Arrested in Multi-Agency Raid; Drugs, Firearms, and Cash Seized

On December 19, 2024, Harris County Constable Jerry Garcia’s “Special Operations Unit,” along with Patrol Deputies and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, executed an arrest warrant in the 10400 block of Sagetrail Drive in Houston, Texas.

During the early morning operation, 24-year-old Ivan Benjamin Rosales was taken into custody without incident. While inside the residence, deputies observed narcotics in plain view, prompting a thorough search of the premises.

The investigation led to the seizure of 18 pounds of marijuana, cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, Oxycodone, 375 pounds of promethazine/codeine, 12 firearms (seven of which were reported stolen), and several thousand dollars in cash. Packaging materials and other drug-related items were also recovered.

Rosales was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant and faces additional charges of felony possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Constable Garcia thanked the U.S. Marshals and his deputies for their efforts and emphasized the importance of targeting illegal activity to enhance the safety of neighborhoods within his precinct.
