Houston Crash on Main Street Claims Two Lives, Car Split in Two

Houston police are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 14400 Main Street (U.S. Highway 90) around 9:25 p.m. on Sunday, March 10.

The crash involved a white BMW M4, with witnesses reporting that the vehicle was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed and making multiple lane changes before losing control and leaving the roadway. The BMW struck a TXDOT exit sign, causing the car to split in half.

Two males, aged 22 and 23, were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Paramedics pronounced the driver dead at the scene, while the passenger was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The identities of the deceased are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
