Houston-Area Operation Nets Oklahoma Kidnapping Suspects, Drugs, Guns

A coordinated law enforcement effort involving multiple local, state, and federal agencies, including assistance from Oklahoma authorities, resulted in the arrest of four suspects on April 11, 2025. The individuals were wanted in connection with an aggravated kidnapping case originating in Oklahoma.
Arrest warrants were executed at four different locations across various counties surrounding Houston. SWAT teams from numerous agencies successfully apprehended all four suspects without incident. The operation also led to the recovery of a significant quantity of narcotics and multiple firearms.
One of the suspects, 43-year-old Brandon Ford, was located in Montgomery County. In addition to his connection to the Oklahoma kidnapping case, Ford has been charged in Texas with Possession of a Controlled Substance (PG 1) and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office expressed its sincere appreciation to all the agencies that participated in this collaborative effort, including the DEA, FBI, MOCONET HIDTA, MCSO SWAT, Harris County Precinct 4, DPS CID, DPS SWAT, the DPS methamphetamine group, HPD’s high hazard clan lab team, and HCSO SWAT.
