Houston Airports to Suspend Flight Operations on Tuesday Due to Winter Storm

The Houston Airport System announced that all flights at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), and Ellington Airport will be suspended starting at 12 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, due to extreme weather and hazardous road conditions across the area.

Travelers are urged not to attempt to travel to the airports during this time. While no flights will depart or arrive, airport teams will remain on-site 24/7 to prepare for a swift return to normal operations once weather conditions improve.

Passengers with upcoming flights should contact their airlines for rebooking information. The airports did not specify when flight operations would resume.
