Hit-and-Run Suspect Apprehended After Brief Chase in Harris County

On December 15, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 24100 block of Kuykendahl Road in Spring, TX. The incident took a dramatic turn when it was discovered that the at-fault driver had fled the scene.

Upon arrival, Constable Deputies initiated a search for the suspect, leading to the location of 31-year-old Kamren Alexander. However, Alexander attempted to evade arrest by fleeing on foot, prompting a brief but intense foot pursuit by the responding deputies.

After a determined effort, law enforcement successfully apprehended Alexander. Subsequent identification revealed that the suspect had multiple prior convictions for Evading Arrest. Kamren Alexander was promptly arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, where he now faces charges of Evading Arrest.

The bond for Alexander has been set at $1,000.00, as determined by the 486th District Court.
