Hit-and-Run Leaves Pedestrian Dead on Veterans Memorial Dr.

At approximately 12:19 AM on Sunday, January 19, 2025, a white male pedestrian was found lying face down on the shoulder of the 12400 block of Veterans Memorial Dr near Edward Roberson Middle School. Investigators believe that an unknown make and model vehicle may have struck the pedestrian while he was on the shoulder before fleeing the scene without rendering aid. The pedestrian was discovered without signs of life.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident. Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
