High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Arrest After Crash on FM 1960 Road East in Humble

On November 28, 2023, a Lieutenant with Constable Mark Herman’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 6200 block of FM 1960 Road East in Humble, Texas. The driver, identified as 35-year-old Jacob Turner, refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit.

During the pursuit, Turner lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a crash in the 7300 block of FM 1960. Turner quickly exited the vehicle and fled on foot, leaving behind a critically injured female passenger.

Constable Deputies swiftly responded to the scene, attending to the injured passenger and initiating a search for the fleeing driver. Jacob Turner was subsequently located and taken into custody. It was revealed that Turner had two open Felony Warrants for Evading Arrest and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Jacob Turner was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Evading Arrest and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. His bond has been set at $25,000.00.
