Harris County Sexual Assault and Threat Suspect Featured in Texas 10 Most Wanted List

Omar David Zavala, 30, is the Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal for August. Zavala, a criminal illegal immigrant from El Salvador, is sought by authorities in Harris County for charges including sexual assault, terroristic threat, and obstruction/retaliation. He was previously arrested multiple times by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in 2014 and was removed from the United States in 2015. Zavala was also arrested by the Houston Police Department in May 2020 for similar charges.

Zavala stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has a tattoo on his right forearm. His connections include Harris County, specifically the city of Spring, and he has prior ties to Virginia. A reward of $4,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest if the tip is provided in August.
