Harris County Detectives Arrest Gang Affiliated Suspect for Felony Theft and Firearm Possession
Michael Ford

Constable Mark Herman’s Office has arrested 40-year-old Michael A. Ford following an investigation into stolen property and illegal firearm possession.

The investigation began when patrol deputies responded to a theft complaint, and the case was referred to the Burglary/Theft Division. Detectives recovered stolen items valued at over $2,000 from a local pawn shop and discovered additional stolen property listed for sale on eBay.

Further investigation determined that Ford had stolen the items and sold them for cash. He was also found to have sold a firearm at a pawn shop and is a documented gang member.

Due to Ford’s prior criminal history, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office approved felony charges, including Theft with Two or More Prior Convictions and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

On November 25, 2025, Constable Herman’s Detectives, with assistance from patrol deputies, located and arrested Ford.
