Harris County Deputies and U.S. Marshal Officers Capture Wanted Child Abuser
On Friday, August 16th, 2024, at approximately 8:00 AM deputies with Harris County Constable Jerry Garcia’s Special Operations Unit, assisted Deputy US Marshals (Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force) after they received information that a wanted person whom they had been looking for was driving south bound on Gulf Freeway and S Shaver St.
Deputies quickly caught up to the suspect at the intersection of Bay Area Blvd. and Gulf Freeway frontage road and attempted a traffic stop, at which time the suspect decided to evade in his motor vehicle.
This pursuit eventually ended around the intersection of El Dorado Blvd. and Gulf Fwy frontage road and the suspect exited his vehicle and fled on foot. Constable Garcia’s Special Operations Unit gave chase on foot and ultimately K9 Hero was deployed apprehending the wanted suspect by “Dog Bite”. The suspect was then taken into custody without further incident. The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Keith Sylvester Anderson and charged with Felony Evading and taken in for the open Felony Warrant.
