Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Cracks Down on Narcotics and Electricity Service Theft

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Harris County Constable Precinct 2’s Special Operations Unit has executed a search warrant on a residence following community complaints about heavy traffic and an investigation into narcotics and utility theft. The operation resulted in two arrests and the seizure of drugs.
The investigation began after deputies received numerous citizen complaints. It was also discovered that the residence was illegally bypassing its electrical meter, which was confirmed by CenterPoint Energy.
On June 10, a verbal altercation occurred when a CenterPoint employee attempted to inspect the property’s breaker box. Following the investigation, deputies executed a search warrant, leading to the arrest of:
- Prestenny Roby, who had an open warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
- Michelle Cunningham, who had a Probation Violation warrant from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.
Narcotics were also recovered from the residence. The Constable’s office thanked the community for its role in bringing the matter to their attention and stated its commitment to keeping neighborhoods safe.
