Gunshot Victim Found Inside Car; El Paso Police Seeking Help from Public
On April 29, 2023, El Paso Police officers responded to the 5900 Block of Ameen on a welfare check.
A gunshot victim was located inside of a Chevrolet Malibu that struck a tree. The victim was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was identified as Daniel Antonio Mergil.
Crimes Against Persons is currently investigating and is asking for assistance from the public on any information leading up to the death of Mr. Mergil.
