Fugitive on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List Captured in Houston

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced the capture of Armando Flores-Aguilar, 69, a fugitive from Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List. Flores-Aguilar was arrested on Friday, February 14, in Houston following a Crime Stoppers tip, making the tipster eligible for a reward.

DPS Special Agents, Texas Highway Patrol Troopers, and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force took Flores-Aguilar into custody. He had been wanted in Bastrop County since September 2024 on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.

Flores-Aguilar, a criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico, was previously removed from the United States in September 1999. In May 2024, he was arrested by the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office for continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 but was later released on bond.
