Fugitive from Texas’ Most Wanted List Captured in Liberty County

On Friday, March 14, 2025, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced the arrest of Rigoberto Enrique Valencia, a fugitive from Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List.

Valencia, 20, a criminal illegal immigrant from El Salvador, was apprehended in Cleveland, Texas, during a coordinated traffic stop involving DPS Special Agents and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

Valencia had been wanted out of Harris County since August 29, 2024, for failure to appear on a charge of carrying a prohibited weapon. He was previously arrested by the Houston Police Department in March 2024 for unlawful carrying of a weapon and again in August 2024 for carrying a prohibited weapon. He was released on bond shortly after his August arrest.

No Crime Stoppers reward will be paid for his arrest.
