Friendswood Police Department Executes Prostitution Operation, Multiple Arrests Made
In a multi-agency undercover operation targeting illegal activities, the Friendswood Police Department, working in collaboration with the City of Webster Police Department, League City Police Department, and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), has made a series of arrests related to prostitution.
The investigation, which took place over several months, focused on three local businesses: L Massage, J&C Massage, and DD Tai Massage. The operation aimed to uncover and address illegal activities occurring at these establishments.
As a result of the coordinated effort, the following individuals were arrested:
- Shijing Quito, 54, of Houston, was charged with Promotion of Prostitution. Her bond was set at $10,000.
- Ling Yang, 54, of Missouri City, faced two counts of Prostitution. His bond was set at $2,000.
- Min Mou, 45, of Pearland, was charged with Prostitution. Her bond was set at $1,000.
Investigators are also exploring potential connections to human trafficking in relation to these cases. The operations were conducted with a focus on ensuring the safety of all parties involved and gathering comprehensive evidence for ongoing investigations.
