Friendswood Man Arrested for Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography

On Wednesday, April 23rd, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division – Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit, in collaboration with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed a search warrant in the 400 Block of Gleneagles Drive in Friendswood.
The investigation, initiated by a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), led investigators to identify a suspect. An arrest warrant was obtained for 42-year-old Levi Seth Robertson, charging him with Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography. His bond was set at $60,000.
Robertson was later apprehended in the 4800 Block of Gulf Freeway in Texas City with the assistance of the Crime Reduction Unit.
The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of the Houston Metro ICAC Task Force, which includes participants from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) – Galveston, Pearland Police Department, La Porte Police Department, Texas City Police Department, Hitchcock Police Department, and Jones Creek Marshals Office.
