HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have filed charges against a fourth suspect in the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Quincy White, which occurred at 3301 Green Street around 2 a.m. on June 7, 2025.

The newly charged suspect, Schantea Monique Tardy, 43, faces a murder charge in the 185th Criminal District Court. Three other suspects, Herman Williams III, 43, Alfred Lucious, 26, and Ahmon Hogg, 22, were previously charged with murder in the 339th, 262nd, and 488th Criminal District Courts, respectively. Williams III also faces a tampering with evidence charge in the 339th Court. Booking photos for all four suspects have been released by HPD.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger, officers responded to a shooting at a business on Green Street and found White inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Investigators determined that White had been sitting in his vehicle outside the store when individuals in a dark-colored sedan began shooting. White attempted to flee into the store, where he ultimately collapsed.

Tardy was arrested on November 18 by HPD’s Midwest Division Crime Suppression Team.
