Former School Principal Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography in The Woodlands
On Thursday, December 12, 2024, Montgomery County Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division executed a residential search warrant at a home in The Woodlands, Texas. This action stemmed from a proactive investigation by the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) detective into the possession of child pornography.
The investigation identified Curtis John Locklear as the suspect. Locklear was arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of Child Pornography. He was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail and is currently being held on a $300,000 bond.
Further investigation revealed that Locklear is a retired school principal from the Austin area who has had frequent and prolonged contact with children over the course of his career. He is also a known author and often travels for his work.
