Florida Stolen Car Recovered in Harris County; Suspect Arrested After Traffic Stop in Spring

On January 31, 2024, deputies from the Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office carried out a routine traffic stop in the 19500 block of the North Freeway in Spring. The driver, identified as 22-year-old Johnathan Sanders, caught the attention of law enforcement during the stop.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle Sanders was operating had been reported stolen in Florida. As a result, Sanders was taken into custody by the deputies and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. He now faces charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

The bond for Sanders has been set at $10,000.00, as determined by the 174th District Court.
