Five Juveniles Shot at New Year’s Eve Party in Round Rock

Round Rock police are investigating a shooting that injured five juveniles late Wednesday night at a New Year’s Eve party held at the Platinum Event Center.
Officers were called to the 1600 block of Chisholm Trail Road around 11:30 p.m. on December 31, 2025, after reports of a disturbance. According to investigators, a physical altercation broke out between partygoers, and during the fight, gunfire erupted.
Police located five juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds. All five victims were transported to local hospitals and are reported to have non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said three of the victims are from Pflugerville, while two are from Austin.
Preliminary information indicates the event involved underage drinking and was promoted through a viral social media flyer. Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident and emphasized there is no ongoing threat to the public.
No suspects have been taken into custody at this time, and the investigation remains active.
