Fatal Stabbing at Cityscape Avenue Apartment; Case Referred to Grand Jury

The fatal stabbing of a 25-year-old man at 13351 Cityscape Avenue on Wednesday, April 30, at approximately 3:15 p.m. is under investigation, and the case will be referred to a Harris County grand jury for review.

Officers were dispatched to a call at an apartment complex, where they found one male with injuries outside the apartment and another inside with multiple stab wounds. Paramedics pronounced the man inside the apartment deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Investigators discovered that a physical altercation occurred between the two men, leading to the stabbing. The surviving male cooperated with authorities and provided a statement. After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, the case was referred to a grand jury.
