Fatal Shooting Outside Nawlins After Dark Club in Houston Leaves One Dead, Four Injured

Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at 8627 Glenvista Street around 3 a.m. on Sunday, December 24, 2023.

The victim, identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Parker, was involved in an exchange of gunfire with a group of males in the parking lot of Nawlins After Dark club on Glenvista Street.

Witnesses reported the incident, stating that Parker suffered an apparent gunshot wound and collapsed in the middle of the Gulf Freeway service road nearby. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Four other adults, including one 19-year-old female and three males aged 19, 18, and 17, were transported to area hospitals in private vehicles. Each individual had sustained gunshot wounds during the incident.

The motive behind the altercation and whether the injured individuals were targeted remains unknown at this time.
