Fatal Shooting Outside Houston Club Under Investigation; Two Others Injured

One man is dead and two other individuals were hospitalized after an altercation in the parking lot of the Stampede Night Club on Eastex Freeway erupted in gunfire early Sunday morning, June 15, 2025.
At approximately 1:37 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a shooting at a club located at 11925 Eastex Freeway. Upon arrival, an off-duty deputy was found performing life-saving measures on a 25-year-old male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
In addition to the fatality, a 31-year-old female and a 19-year-old male also arrived at a nearby hospital with injuries from the shooting and are currently receiving treatment.
HCSO Homicide Detectives, Violent Offender Detectives, and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation. Detectives have determined that the shooting stemmed from an altercation in the parking lot, during which unknown person(s) opened fire, striking multiple individuals.
The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
