Fatal Shooting in North Harris County Under Investigation

On Thursday, February 8, 2024, authorities responded to a shooting incident at 22331 Doubletree Park Drive in North Harris County. Harris County Precinct Four Deputies arrived at the scene around 11:35 am to find a black female in her twenties with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased by Harris County Emergency Corps upon their arrival.

The alleged shooter, also a black female in her twenties, had left the residence before deputies arrived. Inside the home, three adults were found unharmed. However, one of them had two open felony warrants for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and was taken into custody after processing by Crime Scene Investigators.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene Investigators conducted the investigation, interviewing witnesses, collecting potential video evidence, and processing the scene. Following these procedures, the home was released back to the homeowners, and the on-scene investigation was concluded.

The case remains open, with Homicide Investigators set to review all gathered information, video footage, and evidence before contacting the Harris County District Attorney’s Office to discuss potential charges.
