Fatal Shooting Claims Life of 17-year-old in Central Southwest Houston

Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred late Sunday night. The incident took place at 3835 Brookmeade Drive in Central Southwest Houston around 11:05 p.m. The victim, identified as a 17-year-old male, was found unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

Upon receiving a report of a person down at the address, HPD patrol officers arrived at the scene to find the victim in critical condition. Houston Fire Department paramedics also responded promptly but pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

As of now, there is no description available for the suspect(s) involved in the shooting.
