Fatal Dog Attack Claims Life of Snyder Man, Investigation Underway

Early Thursday morning, June 27, 2024, authorities responded to a report of a person found deceased on Ave J in Snyder, Texas.

Snyder Police Department and Scurry County EMS arrived at the scene where they discovered the body of Toby Bryan Berkley, aged 40. Initial findings suggest Mr. Berkley was fatally injured in a dog attack while walking along the road. An autopsy conducted today confirmed this cause of death.
