The El Paso Police Special Traffic Investigation (STI) unit is actively looking into a severe crash that occurred on Loop 375 at Mile Marker 56. Preliminary information reveals that 17-year-old Anahi Karla Leanos, a resident of Northeast El Paso, TX, was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima when it broke down in the eastbound lane due to a suspected lack of fuel.

While waiting for assistance in the left emergency lane, a vehicle operated by 18-year-old Ruger Garrett Clark, a resident of Mission Valley El Paso, TX, was reportedly swerving in the middle lane. Clark’s F-350 collided with the back of Leanos’s stalled vehicle at a high speed.
