El Paso Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of 26-Year-Old Man

The El Paso Police Department is investigating the shooting death of 26-year-old Jerome Douglas Harper, which occurred in the 6800 block of Bellrose.

Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of a shooting and found Harper deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. The Crimes Against Persons Unit has taken over the investigation and is working to gather further details regarding the circumstances of the incident.
