El Paso Fugitive Featured in DPS Top 10 Most Wanted
Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Chad Everett King has been identified as this month’s Featured Fugitive, with a heightened reward of $6,000 available throughout November for those who provide information leading to his arrest.
Chad Everett King, 34, a resident of El Paso, has been sought by authorities since December 2022. This pursuit follows the issuance of multiple arrest warrants by El Paso County for charges that include aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon, aggravated kidnapping involving sexual abuse, and six counts of aggravated sexual assault.
In November 2018, King was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm as a felon. He received two concurrent 3-year sentences and served time in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) facility until his discharge in March 2021. Furthermore, King has a criminal record in Missouri, marked by multiple arrests related to robbery.

Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to individuals who provide information leading to the apprehension of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives or Sex Offenders. In 2023, the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and other law enforcement agencies have successfully arrested 37 individuals listed among Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders. In total, $88,000 in rewards has been paid for tips that contributed to these arrests.
To be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters MUST provide information to authorities using one of the following three methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
All tips are anonymous — regardless of how they are submitted — and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
