Drug Raid in Bryan Leads to Arrests, Seizure of Large Drug Cache

On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the College Station Special Investigations Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of West 29th Street in Bryan, Texas, following an investigation into narcotics sales with ties to College Station. The search was carried out in the early hours of November 24 by the College Station SWAT team.

Two adults, John Pilkey (43) and Bobbie Jean Jones (36), along with two children, were found at the scene. During the search, authorities recovered marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia, and extensive evidence of drug sales.

Pilkey and Jones were arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including Possession of Marijuana (over 4 oz but less than 5 lbs), Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (4g>400g), and Delivery of Marijuana to a Child. They are currently being held in the Brazos County Jail.

The operation was a collaborative effort, with assistance from the College Station Police Department’s Community Enhancement Unit, SWAT Team, Hostage Negotiations Team, Canine Unit, and the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division-Bryan.
