Driver Charged with Second DWI After Major Crash on Northwest Freeway
A major vehicle crash on the Northwest Freeway on Thursday, June 19, 2025, led to the arrest of 30-year-old Ruben Wallace, who is now charged with his second Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) offense.
A deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the crash in the 27100 block of the Northwest Freeway. The at-fault driver, identified as Ruben Wallace, displayed multiple signs of intoxication.
Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, and a blood warrant was subsequently obtained. Further investigation revealed that Wallace had a previous DWI conviction on his record.
Ruben Wallace was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 16.
