Driver Arrested for DWI After Causing Crash on North Freeway

On January 25, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office were called to the 12700 block of The North Freeway to respond to a motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, they identified 49-year-old Corey Borneo as the at-fault driver, who exhibited multiple signs of intoxication. Following the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, it was concluded that Borneo was intoxicated. Consequently, Corey Borneo was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond has been set at $100.00 by County Court 4.
