Dirt Bike Rider Arrested After Dangerous Evading Pursuit in Houston
Jacob Gonzales

On Sunday, October 26, 2025, at around 9:34 p.m., Harris County Constable’s Office, Precinct 2 deputies pursued a dirt bike rider who refused to stop for a traffic violation.

A Sergeant observed a red and white dirt bike traveling on the 10500 block of the Gulf Freeway Service Road without a license plate or taillights, both violations of state law. When the Sergeant attempted to stop the rider, the individual ignored commands and led deputies on a dangerous pursuit.

During the chase, the rider traveled the wrong way on multiple streets, ran stop signs, and turned off the headlight in an effort to evade law enforcement. The pursuit lasted approximately five minutes before the rider was safely apprehended on the 9100 block of Scraton Street.

The rider, identified as Jacob Gonzales, was charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted the charges through ADA T. Wallace.

Precinct 2 deputies emphasize their commitment to keeping roadways safe and holding those who endanger others accountable.
