Deputies Respond to Violent Disturbance at North Freeway Motel, Arrest Suspect for Assault – Impeding Breath

On January 11, 2023, deputies from Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to reports of a violent disturbance at a motel located in the 16510 block of the North Freeway. Upon arrival, deputies intervened to separate the involved parties and initiated an investigation into the matter.

The identified suspect in the incident was 39-year-old Jessie Earl Simon II. The subsequent inquiry revealed that Simon had allegedly thrown the complainant onto a bed and forcibly held her down. Additionally, he was accused of impeding her breath by placing his hands around her neck during the altercation. The victim reportedly fought back against the assailant.

Following the investigation, Jessie Earl Simon II was apprehended by authorities and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. The charges filed against him include Assault – Impeding Breath.
