Cross-State Fugitive Manhunt Ends in Cedar Park with Murder Suspect’s Arrest
A joint effort between law enforcement agencies spanning across Tennessee and Texas has resulted in the capture of Devin Trust, 21, accused of multiple serious charges including first-degree murder.

On March 3, 2024, the Criminal Court of Shelby County issued warrants for Trust’s arrest on two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of criminal attempt. The case was subsequently taken up by the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Trust was apprehended on March 7th by the LSFTF in the 3100 block of Colonial Parkway, Cedar Park. During the arrest, Trust was reportedly non-compliant, prompting law enforcement to utilize non-lethal force. He was then transported to a local jail where he will await extradition proceedings to Shelby County, TN.
