Convicted Murderer Wanted for Parole Violation Arrested in League City

League City Police Officers have arrested 65-year-old Woodrow Marshall of Dickinson. Marshall was arrested on a Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Violation Warrant with a No Bond.

On March 24, 2024, the League City Police Department was contacted by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and notified of an active Parole Violation Warrant issued on Woodrow Marshall.

TDCJ informed LCPD that Marshall was a convicted murderer from 1990 and was completing his life sentence on parole. TDCJ explained Marshall recently violated his parole and a warrant was issued. LCPD received information Marshall was possibly staying at a residence on the border of League City and Dickinson. Officers immediately began to monitor the area where Marshall was believed to be located.

On March 25, 2024, at approximately 12:56 p.m., LCPD Officers observed the vehicle which Marshall was believed to be driving and initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Hill Ave and 18th St. Marshall was arrested without incident on the TDCJ Parole Violation Warrant.
