Convicted Felon Arrested with Multiple Firearms and Narcotics in Harris County

On October 19, 2025, while on routine patrol in the Cuney Homes area, Deputy Sims of the Harris County Constable Precinct 6 observed a vehicle impeding traffic at a stop sign. Upon initiating a traffic stop, the driver, Christopher Sallis, was found to be in possession of multiple controlled substances and firearms.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed 0.55 grams of sildenafil, 1.67 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 0.67 grams of Xanax, 61.70 grams of promethazine, and 1.08 grams of crack cocaine. Additionally, four loaded handguns were recovered.
Sallis is a convicted felon and is legally prohibited from possessing firearms. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The suspect was transported to the Harris County Jail for booking. He is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony) and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
