Catalytic Converter Theft Suspects Arrested at Metro Park and Ride in Houston

On December 11, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office and the Metro Police Department responded to an in-progress theft call at the Metro Park and Ride located at 25000 Northwest Freeway. Dispatchers reported that two male suspects were actively stealing catalytic converters from vehicles at the location.

Constable deputies arrived swiftly and intercepted the suspects as they attempted to flee in a vehicle. Following a felony traffic stop, the suspects, identified as 22-year-old Ledarion McCray and 20-year-old Anderson William, were taken into custody.

A search of the suspect vehicle revealed three stolen catalytic converters, a reciprocating saw, firearms, and illegal narcotics. Further investigation uncovered that Anderson William was wanted in Harris County on two felony warrants for Theft Property ATM $300,000 and Engaging in Organized Crime.

Both suspects were booked into the Harris County Jail. McCray’s bond was set at $25,000, while William remains in custody awaiting bond from the 179th District Court.
