Brazoria County Seeks Information on Fatal Hit-and-Run of 20-Year-Old

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Brazoria County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call regarding a suspicious circumstance in the 6500 block of County Road 659. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 20-year-old Diego Flores lying under the San Bernard River Bridge. Flores was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Lake Jackson, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

A preliminary autopsy revealed that Flores had been struck by a vehicle. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
