Body of 19-year-old Found in Woods at South Main Houston

Authorities are awaiting autopsy results in the case of a 19-year-old man found fatally shot at 2714 Grand Fountains Road on Sunday, November 19, around 12:40 p.m.

The identity of the male is currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Police responded to a meet-the-firefighter call at a wooded area at the specified address, where they were informed that the man was discovered deceased approximately 50 yards from the roadway. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound.

As of now, the circumstances surrounding the incident and the manner of the man’s death are under investigation. Further details are expected to emerge following the completion of the autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
