Beaumont Police Investigating ATM Robbery, Suspect Flees in Damaged Vehicle

BEAUMONT, TX – On January 2, 2026, at approximately 3:07 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to a robbery at the Valero Food Basket, 550 Dowlen Road. Officers learned that a suspect confronted a victim at the store’s ATM, stole cash, and engaged in a brief physical altercation before fleeing in a silver vehicle with rear damage.

The investigation is ongoing as officers work to identify and locate the suspect.
