Beaumont Police Investigate Homicide on Ives Street

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 3:01 a.m., Beaumont Police officers responded to a call about a homicide at a residence on the 2200 block of Ives Street. Officers found the body of 57-year-old Ronald Barnes inside the home.

The investigation is being led by Beaumont Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Detectives and the Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the Jefferson County Crime Lab for scene processing.
