Austin Police Seeks Public Help Identifying Suspect in November Aggravated Assault

AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department’s Aggravated Assault Unit is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

At approximately 6:36 a.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Burton Drive in the Riverside area after a male victim sustained a gunshot wound following a disturbance with another male. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

Detectives have obtained a photograph of the suspect and are asking anyone with information about his identity or the assault to come forward. A reward of up to $1,000 may be offered for tips that lead to an arrest.
