Attempted Bank Robbery Reported at Woodforest National Bank in Crosby
On the morning of Friday, May 23, 2025, at approximately 9:28 a.m., an attempted robbery occurred at the Woodforest National Bank located at 14045 FM 2100 in Crosby, Texas.
An unidentified white male entered the bank, approached the teller counter, and handed over a handwritten note demanding cash. The teller, frightened, walked away from the counter. After several seconds, the suspect left the bank without receiving any money.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s to early 50s. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a light blue long-sleeve button-up shirt, dark blue jeans, a surgical-style face mask, and dark sunglasses.
No injuries were reported, and no money was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
